Day1-3 - es salaam alaykum Morocco!

Day1
After 12 + 3 hours flight (+ 6 hours waiting for transit), I finally made a landing in Casablanca, Morocco.
The road from airport to the urban area is wide and well-paved.  We could see some flocks and herds along the road, and encountered two donkeys standing on the center of the road as well :)

I had many 1st experiences today; 1st touch to Africa, 1st 'Actual' meeting with team, 1st mint tea, and 1st real Tajine!!

Day2
As an official 1st date, welcome meeting was held in IBM Morocco.
The office is very close to the hotel and our 1st step to go for work was to across a field and streets filled with cars.
Though it was Saturday, they came to the office and gave us some presentation and nice breakfast.
This meeting made me recognize anew the significance of  CSC and their expectation for this activity.

Day3
It was very sunny day and good to walk around the neighborhood of the hotel in Rabat.
I heard that the gap between temperature of daytime and nighttime here is large, but it is much larger than I imagined.
A thin shirt is good enough to be in a sunny place before dark, but a thick coat is needed after dark.

Day0 - Ready?

This blog is to tell my experience in Morocco as a member of IBM CSR program, Corporate Service Corps.
Today is the day to start on a journey and my baggage is getting ready.
